One of the most frustrating things to deal with as a new business is taxes. Taxes require not only the money to pay them, but also a great deal of time to plan for them and prepare the returns correctly.
The Alabama Department of Revenue (ADOR) administers over 50 different state and local taxes that affect business and individual taxpayers. The following is a listing of the business-related taxes that are administered by the ADOR. This overview is intended to be an introduction to the tax requirements for businesses.
